AICB’s Empowering Bankers CPD Programme featured a webinar titled “Wired for What’s Next: RMiT’s Journey Through Cloud and Beyond”, which was held virtually on 26 September 2023. The session explored the key components of strategic cloud initiatives, how cloud solutions can be leveraged to support and achieve environmental, social, and governance (ESG) objectives, as well as innovative strategies for banks to effectively navigate the future of banking in the evolving cloud era. Among the topics discussed included key updates to the RMiT Policy Document, trends in cloud adoption in the region's banking sector, strategic readiness for the implementation of financial institutions' cloud initiatives, and leveraging cloud solutions to achieve ESG goals. Over 170 individuals banking professionals attended the programme.
