The first AICB Cyberchase 2018 was held on 29 September 2018 to provide participants the opportunity to sharpen their problem-solving skills, build team spirit, and foster camaraderie in a fun motor hunt for clues hidden around Klang Valley.
Starting with a flag off in the morning by AICB’s chief executive Prasad Padmanaban, the motor hunt saw over 50 teams making their way through a pre-set route, searching for answers to the clues provided and competing in Amazing Race-style challenges along the way.
Team 54 (PIDM) emerged as victors of Cyberchase 2018, winning the cash prize of RM3,000. Team 17 (Hunters R Us) and Team 24 (BNM) were declared the first and second runners-up, winning RM2,000 and RM1,000 cash prizes respectively. Consolation prizes valued at RM400 and several lucky draw prizes were also awarded during the event.
Close to 200 practitioners in the banking and financial services industry as well as members of the public participated in the one-day event which started and finished at Bukit Kiara Equestrian & Country Resort, Kuala Lumpur.
